Top Tips for the Perfect Slushie!

• Please ensure the machine is started prior to adding the ice and salt.
• Keep the central canister topped up with ice and don’t forget to add the salt.
• Freeze the central ice canister before use, this will help you make slushies quicker.
• Make your Slushie mix and allow chill in the fridge for at least an hour to speed up the process.
• If the Slushie Machine is used in a warm room, more ice will be required, and your slushies will take longer to make.
• A sheet of ice will form on the outside of the central ice canister. This is not a problem and should not affect the rotation of the ice canister.
• If the rotation of the central ice canister jams, simply reverse the direction of the rotation for a few seconds by moving the button on the right-hand side of the machine from ‘mix’ to ‘dispense’. Return the button to ‘mix’ and repeat, as necessary.
• After using the machine, please wait for 15 minutes before using again, to allow the motor to cool down.

Top Tips for the Perfect Ice Cream!

• • Leave your ice cream mixture to chill in the freezer for 10 minutes before pouring it into your machine.
  • Protect your hands when holding the frozen canister by using gloves or a towel.
  • Your machine must be switched on and running before you add the mix.
  • When adding your mixture, stop at least 4cm from the top as the mixture will increase in volume.
  • Do NOT stop and start the machine during the churning process.
  • Keep the machine running during the dispensing process.
  • For the best ice cream swirl, make sure to hold up and rotate your cone while dispensing.

Top Tips for the Perfect milkshake!

• • To make a delicious milkshake, use the machine to mix 20ml syrup with 200ml cold milk.
  • To make an “extra thick” milkshake, ice cream can be used but we would suggest this is soft serve and added to the milk in small scoops before mixing.
  • We would not suggest adding hard ingredients such as chocolate pieces, cookie pieces or fruit as this may damage the machine. These could be added to your milkshake once mixed as toppings!
  • Make sure the machine is on a dry, stable surface before beginning.
  • The machine has 2 speed functions, press the switch to I for a fast mix and then to II for an even faster mix. Remember to switch to O for off once you have finished.
  • Don’t leave the machine running for more than 2 minutes at one time to prevent the motor from over-heating.
  • If the mixture is not completely smooth, leave the machine to cool down for 5 full minutes before mixing again.

• • To make tasty soda, use the machine to carbonate cold water and add 70ml syrup.
  • Pour the water up to the fill line in the carbonated bottle.
  • Do NOT press the button more than 5 times while carbonating. Your carbonated water may not appear fizzy until you remove the bottle and add your syrup.
  • Make sure the machine is on a dry, stable surface before beginning..
  • Only carbonate cold water (3-7°c) as other liquids could damage the operation of the machine.
