SLUSH PUPPiE turns 50!
2020 will certainly go down in history as an eventful year with an almost global shutdown as the world takes measures to battle COVID-19. Yet beyond these strange times celebrations are still happening – here at Fizz Creations we are celebrating our 10th year – we may not be able to have a party just yet… but hopefully we can later. Our iconic SLUSH PUPPIE range also has a landmark anniversary with its 50th BIRTHDAY!!
The SLUSH PUPPiE drink was created in 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio by Will Radcliff and his sister Phyllis. Radcliff grew the company phenomenally and in 2000 SLUSH PUPPiE was sold to Cadbury Schweppes, it was later acquired by J&J Snack Foods (ICEE Corporation) in 2006.

♥ Will Radcliff’s mother, Thelma, came up with the name ‘SLUSH PUPPiE’ ♥
♥ The original four flavours were Cherry, Grape, Orange and Lemon-Lime ♥
♥ It was the first non-carbonated frozen beverage enjoyed world-wide ♥
♥ Blue Raspberry flavour is blue in colour simply so it was not confused with cherry ♥
